What About Oprius -- an Email Marketing Solution that's Recnetly Been Added to the Renegade System?

Quite a few people have asked me about Oprius, an email company that provides a service similar to I-contact, Awebber, and others, which allow you to send emails to a large list at one time, or to set up auto-email campaigns or auto-responders.

Oprius offers other features that are tailor-made for the network marketer.

So why didn't we start teaching this instead of I-contact when we started our email marketing classes?

Because I haven't fully tested it yet.

Once I do I will certainly provide some training on how to use Oprius if it measures up to the deliverable rate of I-contact.

Deliverability is, by far, the most important thing to look for in an email service.

This means how many of the emails get delivered.

This will have a lot to do with how well established a company is with the email service providers like AOL, Yahoo, Hotmail, and even bigger 'behind the scenes' players that decide whether or not an email gets delivered or blocked.

We have tested I-contact for several months before using it and deciding to teach with it.  Once I'm satisfied with some preliminary testing with Oprius we'll provide training there.

Remember, when you're setting up your initial attraction marketing process, don't jump around a lot.  New services will always come and go.  The key is to set up your attraction marketing components (like having an email system in place) and then move forward.  You can always come back and make changes going forward... after you're getting the results you're after.

We'll follow up on this in the future after I have had time to fully test the deliverability rates of Oprius.  I'll let you know what I find.

Partners in success,

Mike Klingler

Hi Mike,

I have tested out Oprius and have gotten a lot of postitive feedback from others who have been testing it out as well.

The WorksTeam training topic on May 12th was on the Oprius system. I recorded it and it is available on The WorksTeam site. The WorksTeam site is a secure website, but you can call or email me if you would like to view the recording.

Having a contact manager and autoresponder in one has been a benefit, and I like the simplicity of the tools. New people and those who consider themselves "technology challenged" can use it quickly without a big learning curve involved.

I think you will like some of the features designed for network marketers and direct sales people that are built into it as you test-drive it yourself,

Also, if you have contacts in another autoresponder system, as long as Oprius can verify they are double opt-in, they will approve them to be added to group emailings.

Hi Wendy,

Thank you for sharing this! I'll certainly be testing it out... and I agree it has some great features and look forward to testing it.

Dear Mike & Ann,

I fully comprehend the value of internet marketing. What I don't undertsand is the software set up and expense. I am terrified of what I don't know-- I am trying to budget to understand the ROI for my own website and how to have someone to build it for me and what it will cost. My other fear is--- what if it breaks, crashes, etc etc, then how do I fix it and what will that cost.

I sell real estate and am 100% dependent on clients getting my information in a timely fashion. I also need to use the links to my company web site as well as the nwmls. I believe there are restrictions-- with the RSS feeds, but I don't completely understand what those restrictions are and why. Can you put my mind at ease an explain to me why your system could solve some of my issues, what the insurance is, what the cost is and who builds it and who fixes it???

Thank you,

Realtor Rhonda
